Sally Lynn Polakowski
Services for Sally Lynn Polakowski, 63, of Chardon, will be February 21, 2020 , 11:00 am, at Western Reserve Memorial Garden, 11521 Chillicothe Rd. Chesterland, Ohio 44026.
Sally passed away suddenly on February 13, 2020 at UH Geauga Hospital in Chardon.
She was the daughter of Joan Polakowski, loving partner of Peter Parks, mother of Thomas Lepovich of Madison and Rebecca Lepovich of Willoughby, grandmother of Christian Barnicoat; sister of Thomas (Carol), Susan (Keith), Sandra (Frank), Sharon (Robert), and Timothy (Lisa); and aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Sally was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Polakowski.
Born in Cleveland Ohio, she moved to Mentor as a child and graduated from Mentor High School. She was a stay at home mom and has lived in several locations in her lifetime most recently in Chardon. Sally filled her spare time listening to Josh Groben, reading and creating artwork. She was very proud of her children and grandson and all of their accomplishments.
Sally loved her family and friends deeply. She and her contagious smile will be sorely missed.
Ned Oberlin
Ned Rudy Oberlin passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 13, 2020 at the age of 86. Born November 21, 1933, in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, to Cecilia Riley and Rudy Oberlin. Survived by daughter, Deanna Anthony (David), granddaughter Alyssa Anthony, sister, Patricia Arel, brother, Gary Riley and many nieces and nephews. He was proceeded in death by both parents and sister, Barbara Chapman. He was a life-long resident of Cuyahoga Falls, an entrepreneur, and devoted member of the United Presbyterian Church of Cuyahoga Falls. He saw value in everything, and was an avid collector. There will be a Memorial Brunch for family and friends at 11:00 on March 7, 2020 at the United Presbyterian Church of Cuyahoga Falls, 2819 Hudson Drive, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio 44221.
Judith M. Tinner
Judith M. (Miller) Tinner of Ashtabula passed away on Wed. Feb 12, 2020. She was born in Conneaut OH, on July 17, 1957, the daughter of Janet Hardy and William Leslie Miller Jr. She graduated from Edgewood High School. Judy was a kind hearted soul who loved animals, music and a good laugh.
She is survived by her mother, Janet (Steven) Hardy, brothers William Leslie (Terri) Miller III, Mike Miller, Sister, Christina (Daniel) Wagner.
She is preceded in death by her father William Leslie Miller Jr., sister Kathleen Miller, and her son Jonathon Tinner.
The family would like to thank Compassus Hospice and the staff at Bluestream Rehab. Private services will be held at a later date.
Stanley Kain
Stanley Kain age 83 best known as the owner of LaCave Folk Club in Cleveland. Father of Rick (Donna), Bob (Ranelle), Dwayne Postlethwait (Brenda), Kevin Postlethwait, Yvonne Allen (tracy), Michelle Yates (William). Brother Marshall and Don, much loved Grandpa, Great Grandpa, and Uncle. Stanley was proceeded by his parents Allen and Dorothy Kain, sons Ron and Randy Kain.

Steven C. Johnson
Steven Carleton Johnson passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2020.
He was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, son of the late Carleton C. Johnson and Doris Mae (Brown) Johnson.
Steven attended Purdue University and was a retired bakery engineer, most recently employed by Orlando Baking in Cleveland. He enjoyed fishing and astronomy, took great pride in his home improvement skills, and had a wonderfully unique sense of humor that will be greatly missed.
In addition to his mother, Steven is survived by his loving wife and companion of 24 years, Katherine (Brahler) Johnson. Also surviving are five children: Scott (Toni) Johnson, Amanda (John) Brooks, Kelley (John) Pratt, Kristin (Chris) Ray, and Katelyn Meredith, seven grandchildren, brothers Randall (Patricia) Johnson and David (Trish) Johnson, sister Sharon (Tim) Fryer, one nephew and four nieces.
A celebration of Life Service will be begin at 4P.M. on February 19, 2020 at Blessing Cremation Center, 9340 Pinecone Drive, Mentor OH 44060.

Thomas C. Delsanter
Thomas C. Delsanter passed away on February 7, 2020 from heart complications and is survived by his children, Thomas V. Delsanter, Joseph C. Delsanter, Christopher M. Delsanter and Theresa M. Delsanter; and grandchildren, Antonio and Elizabeth Delsanter; brother, Pasquale Delsanter; and sister, Joann. There will be a celebration of life at a later time for family members.
Judi A. Schiebli
Judi Ann Schiebli (nee Skinder) (65) passed away peacefully (February 5, 2020) from various debilitating medical conditions. Judi was always a strong willed and valued person. And as we all know, she enjoyed all her friends and family, with her own style, sense of humor and laughter, which will be forever remembered.
Judi is survived by her loving daughter and best friend, Erika (a real two-some in real life together). Judi also leaves her brothers Frank Jr. and Ken; Judi’s parents Frank Sr. and Hazel, deceased; and brother, Robert “Ron”, deceased. Judi also leaves many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends, that she loved and cared for so deeply.
A Memorial Mass celebration of Judi’s life will be commemorated on Saturday, February 22, 2020. The Memorial Mass will begin at 11:00 a.m. and held at St. Casmir Church, 8223 Sowinski Ave., Cleveland, Ohio 44103.

Timothy Michael Foret
Timothy “Tim” Michael Foret, age 38, lost his battle with PTSD on January 5, 2020. Loving son of the late Timothy and Suzanne Foret. Brother of Brandon Foret (Melynda) and Melissa Foret. Adoring Uncle Ninny to Blake, Bryce, Baylee, Brynna and Breck Foret, Darren (DJ) Falgout, Shaun and Cole Moses. Also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins. He leaves behind his beloved dog, Princess Nala.
Tim joined the military April 26th, 2006. He spent time on active duty and most of his career with the Louisnan National Guard unit AlphaBattery 1st of the 141st Field Artillery Battalion. Staff Sergeant Foret deployed with the Louisiana National Guard where he served in Kuwait and Baghdad, Iraq under the campaign Operation Iraqi Freedom. He was honorably discharged on April 25, 2019 from the Army Reserves in Ohio. Tim will always be remembered for his undying passion for the military, sharpness and his attention to detail. The military was his life. He will be missed and loved by his brothers and sisters in arms.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday February 8, 2020 at St. Rita Church, 7100 Jefferson Hwy., Harahan, LA. Visitation will begin at 9am with a prayer service to follow at 11:00am.
John Steven Kish
John Steven Kish of Cleveland, Ohio passed away on February 4th, 2020 at the age of 52 after a brief illness. He leaves behind his beautiful son Sean who was the light of his life and the center of his universe. Also missing John are his parents Carol Webber Wolfe and Ron Kish, and his sister and primary partner in mischief, Theresa Kish Harvey and her husband Justin Harvey along with their children James and Alexandria.
John was born on May 7th, 1967 in Cleveland. He graduated from Kirtland High School in 1986 after which he attended Kent State University. John had a wealth of life experience including bartending, waiting tables at a high-end restaurant, and managing a local vacuum sales and repair shop. He was wildly successful at all of these because he was a hard worker and perfectionist and because people enjoyed his company. To know John was to be entertained, enlightened, amused, and sometimes even the target of his jokes and pranks.He found his true calling after graduating from Lakeland Community College with an associate’s degree in Geographic Information Systems.
He started a new career doing work he was proud of and that he loved which also gave him the means to enjoy life to the fullest with his family and friends.He was a devoted father, brother, uncle, son, and friend to many. The joy he brought to the people who knew and loved him is immeasurable.You are encouraged to celebrate his life with friends and family on Sunday, February 9th from 4PM to 8PM at Red Wine & Brew (RWB) 9620 Old Johnnycake Ridge Rd, Mentor.In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to his son's Go Fund Me page. Kathleen "Kathy" June Dorn
Obituary – Springfield, Ashtabula, Cleveland OH
Kathleen (Kathy) June Dorn – Age 74, beloved mother, grandmother and sister, passed away in her Ashtabula, OH home Monday, February 3, 2020. She was born in Cleveland Heights but lived most of her life in Springfield and Ashtabula. Kathy will be remembered most as a caring mother, loving grandmother and empathetic friend and neighbor. Others will remember her as an exceptional second grade teacher at Snowhill Elementary in Springfield Ohio, a hospital ward secretary at Mercy Hospital, and volunteer rehabilitating animals and birds in her home. The most well-known animals she cared for are the crow who followed her to work and “Chuck” the groundhog, who made special television appearances this time of the year in the late ‘80s from his post-rehabilitation home at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History.
Kathy Dorn is preceded in death by her daughter. She is survived by her 2 sons, grandchildren, brother and sister, nieces and nephews and their families. She attended Shaw High School in East Cleveland and Wittenberg University, Springfield, OH. Kathy enjoyed playing the flute and we’ll remember our love for her whenever we see her precious butterflies.
No viewing was held. A celebration of her life will be announced to family and friends at a future date. In lieu of flowers, Kathy would have requested that friends care for animals, like her, by donating to the animal shelter nearest you.
Robert Weekley Jr.
Robert R. Weekley Jr. passed away in his home on Friday, January 31st., 2020. He was born on February 12th, 1966, in Madison, Ohio. Survivors are his daughters Nicole and Stephanie. Mother, Christina Toney, and sister, Christina LaBant. His father, Robert R. Weekley Sr. is deceased. A private memorial service will be held at 2824 Haines Rd., Madison, Ohio, on February 8th at 3:00 PM.
Nancy Canniff
Nancy Canniff, 78, of Willoughby, OH passed away peacefully on January 20, 2020. She was born April 18, 1941 in Cleveland, OH and was the daughter of the late Charles and Kathryn Holmes. She is survived by her sister Lynda Muche and brothers William Holmes and Thomas Holmes. She was the mother of four: Barb Williams, Cheryl Creter, Robert Creter, and David Creter whom gave her nine grandchildren.
Nancy was a very warm, kind, and friendly person. She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and making new friends. She was a very social butterfly, always striking up conversations and trying to make everyone feel happy. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Suzanne Walker
Suzanne Walker 66, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 30, 2020 at Country Place Nursing Home in Wickliffe.
Suzanne was born on August 6, 1953 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Sheldon and Mildred Walker. Suzanne graduated from Mentor High School, and furthered her education at Lakeland and Bowling Green State University. Suzanne retired from the City of Mentor as an administrative assistant.
Suzanne loved Walt DisneyWorld, movies, politics, and most importantly, her family and friends. She was always trying to make a difference in her community, and in the lives of others. Suzanne was a loving, caring, friendly, and giving person to all those that had the blessing of knowing her.
Suzanne Walker is preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Jennette Walker. Suzanne leaves to cherish her memory, her brother Mark Walker, and many other family and friends. Her visitation will be on Thursday, February 13, 2020 at St. John Vianney Chapel, 7575 Bellflower Road in Mentor from 6:00-7:45pm. A Memorial Service begins at 7:45pm. Bonnie Virginia Hays Sellitto, 82, a resident of Madison, OH passed away on January 29, 2020. Bonnie was born in San Francisco, California and later lived in Pasadina and San Marino before moving to Painesville, Ohio. She has resided in Madison, Ohio for the past 30 years. Bonnie married Ronald Baird in 1958 and raised four beautiful children before divorcing in 1973. Her first born, Bradley Baird (Lori Baird) preceded her in death in 1987. She is survived by Karen Bakos (Mitch Bakos), and twins Brett Baird (Michele), and Bart Baird (Rhonda), and many grandchildren. In 1980, Bonnie married Thomas Sellitto, the love of her life. She became step-mother to Thomas Selllitto, Jr. (Heidi), Daniel Sellitto (Diane), William Sellitto (Bridget), and James Sellitto (Sandi). They made many happy memories living on the shore of Lake Erie. During her long illness, Bonnie found peace looking at the beautiful lake view from her bedroom window. Bonnie was a homemaker and mother in the early years and later had a career as a secretary. Her love of interior decorating was evident in her beautiful homes, and she shared her talent through her business, B’s Interiors. She also enjoyed traveling, sewing, gardening, water and snow skiing, and spending time with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Virginia Hays. Family and friends will be notified of the date and time of a memorial service to be held in late spring or early summer.

William (Bill) E. Throop, age 59, passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2020. Bill was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Durkoske, father William Throop, and brother Scott Throop.
Bill is survived by children, grandchildren, aunts, uncle, cousins, and dear friends.

Douglas J. Pecsok Private services will be held for Douglas J. Pecsok, 67, of Eastlake, a retired machine operator. Mr. Pecsok died January 27th, 2020 at his residence. Born July 3rd, 1952, in Cleveland, he lived in Eastlake his entire life. Mr. Pecsok was retired but was formerly employed by Titan Manufacturing and Metal Seal Precision. Survivors are his mother, Norma of Eastlake; brother, Warren & sister-in-law Lauri of Mentor; sister, Candy Brunetz & brother in law Mike of Olive Branch, Mississippi; daughter, Susan Syrell of Katy, Texas; son, David of Eastlake; and son, James of Elba, Alabama. His wife, Mary, and his son, Nicholas, are deceased. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements will be held by Blessing Cremation Center in Mentor.

Nicholas A. Ricciardi Sr. age 92 of Madison, Ohio. Passed away peacefully on Monday January 27, 2020. Son of the late Rose (Tagliaferri) and Anthony Ricciardi. Beloved father of Nicholas Jr., Christine (Terry) Raske, Rose (David) Fisher, Toni Marie, Bernardine (Eddy) DelRe, and Rick (Pam). Grandfather of Michelle, Nicole, Zoltan, Jordan, Shawn, Dawn, Steve, David, Vincent (deceased), Joe, Kate, Kim, Mike, Matt, Dominic, Angelo, Maria, Rachel, and Angela. Great-grandfather of 32 and Great-great-grandfather of 4. Loving brother of Gerry Gill, and the following deceased: Florence Cook, Carrie Biscotti, and Michael Ricciardi. Nicholas loved working in the yard, working with his rose bushes, flea markets, worked at the farmers market in downtown Willoughby, and he loved birds. He was a veteran of World War II. Lawrence "Larry" Nelson
Lawrence (Larry) Nelson, 86 of Wickliffe, passed away Friday, January 24, 2020 at Lake West Hospital surrounded by his family. Born January 7, 1934 in Brooklyn NY, he served 4 years (’52-’56) in the United States Navy. Worked as a salesman for State Chemical for 30 years as well as for several car dealerships in Lake County for 30+ years. He was a member of the VFW and the American Legion. He enjoyed golfing, riding his motorcycle, playing the lottery & scratchers, senior softball and spending time with his family. To know him was to love him.
Larry is survived by his wife of 36 years Vicky (nee Shonk) of Wickliffe, children - Michelle Nelson of FL, Steven Nelson of FL, Christine (James) Walker of Newbury, Janene (Randall) Wheaton of Euclid, Kevin (Rachel LaMarca) and Alexis (Michael Caplinger) Nelson both of Willoughby, 9 Grandchildren,10 Great grandchildren, sister Rhoda (Herbert, deceased) Mittleman, of FL, brother Michael (Maureen) of NY, cousins Rosalind (George, deceased) Sullivan and Paul (Jane) Nelson and numerous friends.

It is with sadness that our beloved, free-spirited daughter, sister and aunt of many was called home unexpectedly. While we believe she is now in a loving and peaceful place, her laughter and sense of humor will be missed. Debbie was artistic, enjoyed traveling, and was a kind soul.
Debbie is survived by her mother, Jean Brown, sisters Bonnie Winegord Kise (Steve), Mindy Melton (Jeff), Paula Naughton (Mark), and many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Brown, and sister Denise Brown.
A funeral mass will be held at Immaculate Conception Church 2846 Hubbard Road, Madison, Ohio, on Monday, January 27, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. A viewing and visitation will be held one hour before the service. Interment North Madison Cemetery.
