Question 1

What is direct cremation?

Accepted Answer

Direct cremation is the simplest and most affordable cremation option. It takes place without a formal funeral service, viewing, or visitation beforehand. The body is cremated shortly after death, and the remains are returned to the family.

Question 2

Why is your price so much lower than funeral homes?

Accepted Answer

We are a dedicated cremation center — not a full-service funeral home. By specializing in cremation and operating our own facility, we eliminate the overhead and middlemen that drive up costs.

Question 3

What does the $725 base price cover?

Accepted Answer

The $725 covers the core cremation service: professional services of the funeral director, consultation, refrigeration, the cremation container, the cremation process, and return of remains.

Question 4

Will you match a competitor's price?

Accepted Answer

Yes. If you find a lower published price for comparable direct cremation services from a licensed provider in our service area, we will match it. Simply provide documentation of the competitor's pricing when you contact us.

Question 5

How soon after death does cremation occur?

Accepted Answer

Typically within 24–72 hours after all required authorizations and paperwork are completed, depending on the circumstances.

Question 6

What areas do you serve?

Accepted Answer

We serve families throughout all of Northeast Ohio, including Cleveland, Akron, Lake County, Geauga County, Cuyahoga County, Ashtabula County, Summit County, Lorain County, Portage County, and surrounding communities. We can also handle a death in any county in Ohio or Western Pennsylvania.

Question 7

Can I pre-plan a cremation?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Pre-planning allows you to make arrangements in advance, relieving your family of that burden. Contact us to learn about our pre-planning options.

Question 8

Do you offer shipping for ashes if our family lives out of town?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. We understand families may be spread across the country, so we offer secure shipping for cremated remains to anywhere allowed by major carriers. We handle all the necessary compliant packaging and tracking — typically through USPS Priority Mail Express, which is the required carrier for these shipments — to ensure your loved one arrives safely to your designated location.
