Kathy Kuhn (nee Tidd)
Kathy Kuhn (nee Tidd) 58 of Mentor Ohio passed away on 6/25/19 at the Hospice of the Western Reserve after a valiant struggle against cancer.
Kathy lived in the Mentor area for most of her life. She was an employee of Morrison Products (of Cleveland) for many years. She enjoyed fishing, power walking and going to the movies. Her ‘egg-travaganza’ Easter celebrations were always looked forward to. She loved the beach and spent many hours basking in the sun. She loved to travel; the Bahamas were her favorite.
She will be remembered for many things. During her long term battle with disease, she showed a courage and steadfastness that can only be admired. Kathy’s indomitable spirit encouraged her family and friends to persist in the face of their many struggles.
Other things that she will be remembered for is just sitting in the living room telling stories about the family; their offbeat adventures and experiences. When talking with her you knew you were with a friend.
Listing all that she brought to family and friends is too exhaustive of a list. Just know that if you pass a person on the street and they have an enchanting mirth sparkling in their eye and a smile ready at the corner of their lips then they were likely touched by Kathy’s spirit in one way or the other. That was her gift to us all.
She was preceded in death by her sisters Janice Lee Hedrick (John) and Barb Lesuer, brother John Frances Nagy, father Harold Tidd, stepmother Jan Tidd and mother Betty Tidd.
She is survived by sons David Dean (Fox Valorguard) and Robert Dean. Sisters Holly Nagy (Jonathan), Becky Hazlett and Lori Lake LeSuer (Dave). Brothers Harold Tidd, Steven Tidd and Russell Lake (Martha). Nieces Jennifer Nagy (Al), Anna Hazlett, Amy Hazlett (Tim), Stacey Hedrick (Chris). Nephews John Nagy (Eileen), Glenn Hedrick (Carol), and all their beloved Children.
A Celebration of Life is planned for Kathy on Sunday July 28th 10:00a.m. at the Mentor Headlands State Park, Mentor, Ohio. All friends, family and co-workers are invited to attend. (Anyone in need of specific directions should contact Holly at 440-257-4137).
