Victor Malto

Victor “Vito” Joseph Malto, 76, of Richmond Heights, OH, passed away peacefully on July 29th surrounded by his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents Vito and Rose Malto (nee Zeck) and survived by his wife of 57 years, Rita (McGrath), daughters Kathleen, Kristine Rhode (Pat) and Laura Jackson (Rob), granddaughters Julia and Josephine, sisters Carol Toslosky (Joe Zoba) and Lorraine Powell (Tommy) of his hometown Hazleton, PA.

Victor joined the US Army on February 24, 1964, and received an honorable discharge on February 13, 1967. He worked at Ohio Bell and later retired from AT&T. He enjoyed golfing, watching Twilight Zone episodes, making homemade wine, playing keno, fishing, gardening, and spending time with his grandchildren.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, August 26, 2022, at Saint Noel Church located at 35200 Chardon Road, Willoughby Hills, OH 44094, at 11:00 am, preceded by military honors.
