Jonathan Henry Tubman

We are sad to announce the passing of Jonathan Henry Tubman, but happy to be able to reminisce on the good times with those who cared about him. He passed away at the age of 69 during the early hours of July 30, 2022. Jon's official cause of death was deemed to be ischemic heart disease.

Jon (or Mr. Jon) was a good friend and father figure to many throughout his years. He was always passionate about making environments for people to come together in, whether it be building a structure to play in, painting the walls for a living space, landscaping beautiful scenes, or simply being a friendly face. He will be so happy to create an environment for people to come together again to celebrate our time with him. 

If you would like to spend some time with Jon one more time with his loved ones, we will be meeting in the chapel at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens (Chesterland, Ohio) on Friday, September 9th at 3:00 pm.

His ashes will be buried at the end of our service (sometime between 3:30 pm - 4:00 pm). Anyone wishing to spend more time together after the service is more than welcome to do so graveside. Bring your own chairs, if so.
