Born November 16, 1924, in Belle Valley, Ohio, Tom was a dedicated Coast Guard veteran in the Amphibious Forces while serving our country during WWII and shared his love of the water with his wife, Alma Jean, for the remainder of their days. He spent 34 successful years before retiring from the National Acme Corporation and in his spare time maintained a very active social life. He was frequently found relaxing on his boat or helping friends make engine repairs as the go to person for his expertise. Early on he was an avid golfer and loved singing with the barbershop quartet. Tom was as devoted as they come, spending everyday with his wife as she battled Alzheimer’s disease, managing her care and assisting with her meals. He was as staunchly independent and sharp as a tack until the very end. Godspeed, Dad, you will be deeply missed.
Survivors are his loving children, Diane (Robert) Rutherford, Mike (Patti Macik), Tim (Gina), Tom (Diana), grandchildren, Brock (Ariana), Erin Sikora (John), Amanda Musick, Michael (Michelle), Christopher (Nicole), Jamie Durosko, Debbie Durosko (Rick) & Ashley LeBouf (Jared).
