Robert T. Mulcahy M.D.

Robert Mulcahy M.D.  died on February 28,2023  after a brief illness.  He lived a “wonderful life” always putting others ahead of himself.  He was always pleasant, kind, patient, compassionate and tenacious. A true gentleman with a relentless intellectual curiosity, and adventurous spirit that kept him interested, interesting and clever. He had many hobbies some of which were sailing, scuba diving, and skiing both downhill and cross country but most of all enjoyed being an instrument rated pilot. In his retirement he took up fly fishing  He was strong and gentle at the same time, with a charming sense of humor.  He was a humble and generous teacher, sharing his knowledge to make a difference. He was a very respected clinician with excellent judgement skills well liked by his colleagues and his patients. He loved deeply and was loved and admired deeply in return especially by his wife and soulmate of 39 years.  They were very grateful to have shared a fairy tale marriage, and life with many travels around the world and the arts but especially fine dining with friends.  He had integrity and was a role model to many, he will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends.  No services.   Donations  may be made to St. Judes Children’s Research Hospital.
