James L. Daugherty

We are sad to announce the passing of James L Daugherty at the age of 74.  He leaves behind his loving wife Margaret Daugherty, children Brenda VanOver (Erik) and Scott Daugherty (Kristina), grandsons Shane VanOver(Carissa) and Logan VanOver.  Siblings Rick Daugherty, Karen Alexander, Sue Western, Barbara Ash, Chris Daugherty and Tommy Daugherty. He is preceded by his father Tom Daugherty, mother Martha Yankow  and sister Patricia Bell. 

James was born in Painesville, Oh, went to Riverside High and went on to join  the United States Marine Corp. 

A private memorial service will be held in his honor at 10:00am  March 13 at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens 11521 Chillicothe Rd. Chesterland, Oh 44026. In lieu of sending flowers,  we ask that anyone who would like to, please make a donation to the American Heart Association or charity of your choosing.
