OBITUARIES
A Remembrance of Loved Ones
Robert A. Kato Sr.
April 26, 1931 - July 15, 2017
Robert A. Kato Sr. age 86, passed away on July 15. Farewell to you my family and friends. If you are reading this, I met my end…Please do not weep or be sad…because as you all know Seneca Casino will be so glad. Do not think of me as dead…think of the fun times like Cooler Head. The crazy times that we remember…of past days, and fun times in the summer. Recall those memories in your mind, those are truly the ties that bind. I will not have a wake to view me…remember me as you knew me. There will be a memorial mass on Saturday, August 5 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua 521 Plum St. Fairport Harbor, OH. Friends will be welcomed beginning at 10:00 a.m. My notable accomplishments…beside what you remember me for…are serving in the Korean War, a Western Reserve Yacht Club Executive Board member, and the craziest Fleet Captain ever. I was also a member of Jefferson Eagles, The Hungarian Culture Club, and the V.F.W Post 7754. Born April 26, 1931. Son of Helen and Andrew Kato (both deceased) I leave behind my beautiful wife Barb of 54 years (what a saint), my children Robert Jr. (Colleen), Michael (Janet), George, Denise O’Donnell (Jack), Kim Graham, Kathy (Dave Hill), Step children William Peadon (Linda), Michael Abbott and my beloved grandchildren Kyle and Connor O’Donnell, Joe and Elizabeth Graham, Kristi (Bert Karlovec), Tricia (Chris Young), Jacque Kato, Allison Lenze (Traver), and several great-grandchildren. Not to mention my two favorite 4 legged children, Roxy and Luci. As you know I would like to say make a donation to me but it wouldn’t do me any good so any donations should go to Hospice of the Western Reserve or St. Anthony of Padua in Fairport Harbor. I must now bid adieu and happy trails to you…until we meet again.
