She was born Gladys June Kipling in South Euclid on June 2, 1930 to Martha (von Thun) and Abraham Kipling but was adopted at an early age by Arza and Laura (Tuttle) Scott of Painesville and grew up in that community. She graduated from Harvey High in 1948. As part of her working career, Gladys was a long time motor route driver for the News Herald serving much of eastern Concord Township during the 70’s and early 8o’s. She later worked as a clerk at Concord Friendly Drug (later Medic) until retiring in 1998. She is survived by her husband, Mark Hanna, brother Alfred (Marcella) Kipling and children, Mark (Barbara) Iams, Holly (Ed) Lepisto, Casey Iams, Kristen Slemc and Amy Hanna.
