Beloved mother of Ridge Hardy, and Aisha Chandler; wife of Charles Hardy Jr.; grandmother of Dwayne Gilcrease, Alaina Chandler, Annesha Chandler, Jayden hardy, and London Hardy; great-grandmother of Zion Robinson, Kylie Bui; daughter of Clois Chandler and Martha George (John) (all deceased); sister of Cheryl Chandler, Douglas Chandler (Rosalyn), Rodney Chandler, Jeffrey Chandler best friend of Eunice and Teola; dear aunt, great-aunt, and friend of many.

Elaine Joan McAllese

February 28, 1936 - October 16, 2016

Elaine Joan McAleese (nee Hogan) age 80. Beloved wife of James F.; Loving mother of Joe McAleese (Kate), Karen Valvoda (Don), Tim McAleese (Cyndi), Maria Capretta (Michael), and John McAleese; Proud grandmother of Kyle and Ashley McAleese, Lauren, Chris, Lindsey and Tyler Valvoda, and Palmer and Dominic Capretta. She was preceded in death by her twin sister Eileen Jackson.  Elaine was born and raised in Pittsburgh. It was there, where she earned her Bachelors degree in 1958 from Duquesne University, and gained her love of sports, which included the Steelers and Cavs.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday, October 22 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Vianney Church 7575 Bellflower Rd. Mentor, OH. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Hospice of the Western Reserve 17876 St. Clair Avenue Cleveland OH 44110
