Daniel Wesley Spicer Jr.

January 31, 1983 - August 19, 2022

Daniel Wesley Spicer Jr, age 39, passed away at home surrounded by loved ones August 19, 2022 in Mentor, Ohio. Daniel was born January 31, 1983 to Daniel Sr. and Maria (Gladding) Spicer. Daniel was a man of many traits but loved anything in the construction field. There wasn't anything he could not fix. Daniel enjoyed being with his family and friends. You could usually find him fishing, riding four wheelers, cooking out or enjoying a bonfire. Daniel was a die hard panthers fan who made sure to let everyone know his team was #1. Daniel is survived by his father Daniel Spicer Sr. His children Daniel III , Makena,  Hayden, Noah, Isaac and Layla. His brother Dustin Spicer. And his sisters Angela (Joshua) Hibbard and Nicole (Gary) Busch. He is proceeded in death by his mother Maria Lynn ( Gladding ) Spicer. 

Family and friends will be contacted to join us for a celebration of life prior to a private burial. 

In lieu of flowers, the family wishes all memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society on behalf of Daniel Spicer Jr.

Beloved son of Deborah and Duane Newnes, brother of Rachel DiBiasio (Emilio), Kaiser Newnes and Eric Newnes. Beloved partner to fiancee Rachel Talty and beloved uncle to Cody, Emilia, Annabella, Braylon, Kyla, Leighton. Daniel was a fun loving person who enjoyed life and respected others. He brought joy into the hearts of many with his care free attitude and engaging smile. He will be missed dearly. Her also loved his loyal dogs Winslow and Sage. Daniel was an avid sports fan who followed the Cleveland Browns and the Florida Gators. He graduated from North High School. He also graduated from The School of Culinary Arts in Pittsburgh, PA. and worked as a chef at various restaurants in Lake and Cuyahoga counties.

Go with God our dear Daniel !

Family will receive friends at the Lake County YMCA Outdoor Center Lodge/Hearth Room, 4540 River Rd. in Perry on Thursday, January 10, 2019 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The family requests donations be made to the Primary Purpose Center, 3222 North Ridge Rd. in Elyria, Ohio.

Daniel Louis Ober

October 3, 1944 - October 4, 2017

Daniel Louis Ober, born October 3, 1944. Beloved husband of Carol (deceased) and Sue (deceased); father of Deanne (Rudy) and George; grandfather of Jessica (Joe, deceased), Pauline (Andrew), Destiny (Dan), and Faith; great-grandfather of Allen, June, April, Amber, and Isabella; son of Donald and Violet (both deceased); brother of Judi and Doris; Brother in law and dear friend of Ed (Sue). Daniel was a Christian and had an extended family with his church. He enjoyed being outside cutting grass and fishing. He loved animals and flowers. Dan was a very kind, generous, and sweet man. He also worked with his uncle Jim training race horses. He was a hard working man who loved his family and friends.

A memorial service given by Dave Roberts will be held Sunday, October 29, 2017 at 12:30 p.m. at The Lake Church of Christ 8435 Auburn Rd., Chardon, OH 44024. A private burial will be held at a later date.

Daniel B. Rowles "Dan"

January 18, 1941 - January 17, 2017

Daniel B. (Dan) Rowles, 75, of Eastlake, Ohio, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on January 17, 2017. Born January 18, 1941, Dan was a life- long resident of Lake County, Ohio.

Dan is survived by his wife of 56 years, Nona, his mother Charlotte Conger, sons Daniel V. (Kim) and Lynn Rowles and daughters Elaine (Brian) Garrison and Laurie (Scott) Gilbert; grandchildren Daniel M. (Chrissy), Leah (Vince) Capp, Kaleigh Trowbridge, Marie (Kyle) Blum, Emily (Phil) Trimble, Dustin (Marissa) Gilbert, Collin, Dakota, Ian and Erin Gilbert; great grandchildren Lexi and Daniel P. Rowles, Kim Rowles-Blum, Emma and Paisley Blum, Olivia Trimble and nephew Brian (Amy) Cimas. Dan was a loving and supportive father, grandfather and friend to all.

Dan loved hunting and fishing and was an avid outdoorsman. He had a passion for firearms and enjoyed repairing and restoring antique guns and bayonets. He enjoyed spending time with family, walks in the local parks, movies and reading.

Dan was a machinist who retired from Euclid Spring Co. in Wickliffe, Ohio. He had a knack for fixing just about anything and was always there to help family or friends with household projects or mechanical things. Dan was a person who could be called upon day or night to help a friend or loved one.

A special thank you to the many wonderful people at Hospice for their loving care and support. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Hospice Of The Western Reserve-David Simpson Hospice House at 300 E 185th St, Cleveland, OH 44119.

Daniel R. Evans age 74, passed away on Nov 9, 2016 at Hospice of the Western Reserve. He was born June 20, 1942 in Cleveland Ohio. He married his beloved Nancy Evans (nee Melik) on November 1963. Survivors include his son Daniel Evans (Lisa) and Steve Evans (Bridget); He was the Loving grandfather of Jenn, Zack, Danny, Jason, Jess, and Gianna. Devoted Great grandfather of Bentley. Dear brother of Joyce (deceased) Daniel was preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Elizabeth Evans.
