Patricia A. Ackroyd

Patricia A. Ackroyd (nee Penny) passed away unexpectedly Feb, 3, 2024. She was 79. Patricia was a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. 

She was a graduate of Ohio School for the Deaf, a member of the Cleveland Association of the Deaf and was a member of

Buckeye Deaf Senior Citizens. She retired from the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Patricia leaves behind her husband, Barry Ackroyd; sister, Charlene Calogar (nee Penny) (Husband Ken); brothers William (wife Tammey), and Richard(wife Jolene); son, Seth Ackroyd; daughter Neva and her husband, Paul; daughter-in-law Lisa Ackroyd; grandchildren Katie (Dan) Lenz and Shauna Ackroyd; and great grandchildren Damien, Natalie and one on the way; and many friends. Sister-in-law of Mary and Brenda. She was the beloved Aunt and friends to many.

She was preceded in death by her brother Tom, parents Neva and Charles Penny, and son Rory,

There will be no funeral. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
