Nila Rintatalo

Nila Rintatalo. age 77, passed away on May 24, 2022. She was originally born in New Braunfels Texas.

Loving wife of the late Erkki for over 40 years. Cherished sister of Conse, and Mother of Lupe, James and Helen. Devoted grandmother of six grandchildren: Justin, Jazmin, Brandon, Sara, Ava, and Natalie.

Nila worked at Heinens as a meat cutter for many years, and enjoyed social clubs which included: The Madison garden club (valued member), book club, and sauna club (with Erkki). She was a great gardener for many years at home and around the community of Lake county with her garden club members, where they planted many flowers with white ones being her favorite. She was an amazing cook that always made great meals for friends and family, as well as for holiday get-togethers.

Erkki and Nila traveled all around the world with Turkey being her favorite place. In her free time, she enjoyed bird watching and watching movies, especially horror and old Turner classics.

Storytelling was one of the many things that Nila will be remembered for, because of her animation. Erkki and Nila cherished spending time with family, and meeting friends for dinners on Tuesday nights. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
