She enjoyed working with the students and would purchase them stickers and small gifts as rewards for their efforts. She never wanted anyone to go hungry and would cook and bake for her family and friends and supply groceries to those who were unemployed. She baked and donated countless cookies, brownies and her famous “Hello Dollies” for many of her granddaughters’ activities and school functions. She always proudly supported their endeavors in marching band, cheerleading, show choir, drama club and dance.
A memorial service and celebration of her life will be held later in 2021 when it is once again safe for her loved ones and friends to gather.
