Richard “Rich” E. Legan

Richard E. Legan (Rich), age 66 of Eastlake passed away March 30, 2025 peacefully with his family by his side.

Rich is survived by the love his life Julie (nee Naples) for 45 years. Loving father of Angela Legan (Aaron Gavlak), Nicole (DJ) Vanek, Richard (Chelsea) Legan. Loving and devoted Papa to Addison, Logan and Wyatt.

He also leaves behind his Father Dick Legan, Sisters Vickie (Howard) Morenz Carol (Gary) Abrahamsen. In-laws Clem and Audrey Naples, sister-in-law’s Kella Naples (Wayne Danko), and Tracie (Ron) Dancer. Rich was a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews, and cousin. He was the cherished nephew of many aunts and uncles.

He is preceded in death by his mother Lynn (Herbert) Legan.

His passion was spending time with his family, especially his children and grandchildren. Among his favorite things was his 68 charger, Nascar, Colonial Williamsburg that he loved visiting with his granddaughter Addison teaching her the history of this country. He also enjoyed his extended Cleveland Monsters Hockey family that he loved going to the games with his wife, children and grandchildren

A Memorial Mass will be held 11:00A.M. Thursday May 1, 2025 at St. John Vianney Church, 7575 Bellflower Road, Mentor, OH 44060.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rich’s name to T2T. ORG-Tunnels to Towers, or Wreaths Across America.
