Richard David Tidy Jr.

Richard David Tidy Jr. passed away on March 3, 2023 after a short 10 month battle with cancer. Richard grew up in Willoughby, OH. He loved horses, he spoke fondly of his days in 4H and was a self-proclaimed cowboy. He loved NASCAR, WWE and the Cleveland Browns, no matter how badly they broke his heart. The thing that Richard loved the most, and was most proud of are his 11 grandchildren, Richard, Emily, Sammy, Robby, Kaiden, Caleb, Lucas, Gabriel, Bailey, Lucia and Maxwell. Richard was proceeded in death by his father, Richard Tidy Sr., stepfather, Gary Powell, and his two sisters Lori and Terri. He is survived by his mother Sherri , children, Richard (Jennifer) Tidy III, Amanda (Stephen) Palermo and Joshua (Alyssa) Tidy, his niece Lacey (Joshua) Jarvis, his nephew Matthew Minnick as well as his previously mentioned grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held at a later date at the Lake County Fairgrounds. In Lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to a Go Fund Me for the care of his mother.
