Meghan George

Meghan George age 37, passed away on September 8, 2025. Cherished daughter of Gloria, Thomas R. George(deceased). Devoted soulmate to Thomas Waleszewski. Loving niece to  Cynthia A. Lah, Cheryl J. Schultz, Bonnie Layhue, Rhonda Kilgor, Tammi Layhue, Chet Lah, Earl Daniel Layhue. Cousin to Tiffany Schilling, Jeremy Goble, Dave Layhue, Jason Layhue, Monica Layhue, and Vanessa Roldan. Devoted dog mother to her three beloved pets: Sadie, Jax and Rex. She is preceded in death by her: Grandfathers, Chester B. Sajetowski and Earl Layhue, Grandmothers, Rosalie J. Sajetowski, and Leatrice Layhue, her Uncle Douglas Layhue, Aunt, Connie Sajetowski, and Aunt, Minnie Paisley. Meghan graduated from Mentor High School in 2006, and after high school received a full athletic scholarship for basketball at University of Buffalo. Meghan was a beautiful, compassionate, optimistic, loving and fearless woman.  She enjoyed driving, camping, decorating for holidays, watching horror and true crime movies, playing volleyball, and playing with her dogs, and any other dogs she met. She accomplished many things in her life which included skydiving. She had a zest for life which will be sorely missed by all who knew her. In lieu of flowers please make a donation in Gloria's name to charities she held close to her heart: Marilyn’s Voice, Euclid Animal Shelter, or Lake Humane Society.
