In Loving Memory of Mary Martinez-Bonnay

June 1, 1942 – October 16, 2025

With profound love and deep sadness, we announce that Mary Martinez-Bonnay, our beloved mother, grandmother, and best friend to many, has gone to meet the Lord on October 16, 2025.

Mom had a strong and personal relationship with God and often shared that you would find her “hanging on the robe of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Her deep faith was the heart of her life, guiding her with grace and strength.

She was an avid gardener with a love for her family and flowers. Known to many as “Mary Rose,” she spent years working in garden centers, sharing her knowledge.

Compassion and strength were gifts to all who knew her. She offered comfort, wisdom, and an open heart—always ready help or lend her strength. Though she has entered eternal life, her prayers and love will continue to embrace all those she loved.

She had a special devotion to The Seven Sorrows Rosary of Our Blessed Mother, finding in it both solace and strength. In her honor, those who wish may pray this rosary for the repose of her soul and in thanksgiving for the love she gave so freely.

Mary’s life was a beautiful reflection of faith, love, and strength. Though her earthly garden is now at rest, her spirit will forever bloom in the hearts of those she touched.
