Margaret A. McClain "Arlene"
Margaret A. McClain “Arlene” age 82, of Chardon, passed away peacefully on February 25, 2024 at Mapleview Country Villa, leaving her earthly home for her eternal, home in heaven with her lord and savior. Margaret was born to Fred and betty Molin, in Youngstown, OH. She graduated from McDonald. High School in 1959, and Kent State University in 1963. She married Jim her high school sweetheart November 23, 1963. Arlene went on to teach Home Ec. In the Willoughby Eastlake School System North High School for 30 years. Her hobbies included collecting antiques, especially antique and estate jewelry. She could answer almost any question concerning gems or jewelry. Arlene was a private person, quiet by nature, and happiest at home with a good book. She was a founding member of Willo-Hill Baptist Church, and later a member of Calvary Fellowship Baptists Church where she was a prayer warrior.
Loving husband of 60 years to Jim. Devoted mother of Michael (Carolyn) of Mentor, Sister Trish (Ray) Rutushin of McDonald, OH. Sister-in-law of David and Janet McClain of Xenia, and Robert and Sheryl McClain of Poland. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother Paul. Her special Best Friends include Robin Reeder and Shelia Hamrick. A special thank you residence of Chardon Staff, for their loving kindness during Arlene’s stay. There will be no services per Arlene’s wishes. Arrangements by Blessing Cremation Center of Mentor.
