Lynda Joy Krstolic
Dearest Lynda Joy Krstolic of Concord, OH lived 76 years and left this world to be with her heavenly Father September 5, 2025. Devoted wife of Husband Ken, dearest mother of daughter, Jennifer Rapp (Troy) and son Kyle (Cara) and beloved grandmother of Elliana Krstolic and Joseph Rapp. She is preceded in death by her brother Dan and her parents Albert and Fran.
Lynda brought light, life, love, and fun to every event she is a part of. A life-long teacher whether teaching elementary and middle school science, extending her education through a story-telling M.S. Degree, or consistently teaching Sunday school, Lynda brought creativity and excitement to all lessons, and quizzes for every social activity she was a part of. She was active member of Pilgrim Lutheran Church for more than four decades sharing the gospel, encouraging confirmation class members, and making beautiful cards to encourage all in whatever situation they were experiencing.
Lynda spent countless hours in the kitchen cooking, baking, and making beautiful cheese, veggie, and cracker plates for every occasion. For holidays she wanted everyone to be together and prided herself with her Thanksgiving dinners with 20-plus attendees, two turkeys, and family together for days on end. She decorated and cooked for every season and made home warm and cozy in every way.
With Lynda’s hospitable heart and desire to be together with friends she and Ken formed friendships that have lasted 50 years. Whether it was in tennis leagues, fishing at the yacht club, or the social (pinochle) club in the neighborhood they started, Lynda’s hospitably brought friends and families together.
As a member of the Concord Garden Club she co-led the Program Committee to super-charge their meeting educational content, field trips, and added special decorative touches to every meal they shared together. Her orchids deserved to be in the botanical gardens display and each room in the home has thriving plants that reflect her caring touch. In the back yard garden roses, herbs, enormous hostas, and gorgeous hanging flowering plants bring the song birds and humming birds delight.
Lynda was an avid reader and attended four bible studies each week. She and husband shared their faith and studied and prayed together regularly. Throughout the years, she spent countless hours volunteering with Ken to bring meals to shut-ins, cook for project hope and prime timers, they were marching band parents, led service projects in Junior Women’s Club, and made floral arrangements to bring a cheerful surprise to friends and neighbors. Ken and Lynda were married 53 years and centered their marriage around family, fishing, friends, faith, and fun out of doors.
A Celebration of Life will be held September 20, 2025.
