October 4, 1955 – September 26, 2025
Kevin Edward Moyer, age 69, passed away surrounded by the love of his family on September 26, 2025, just days before his 70th birthday.
Born on October 4, 1955, Kevin was the beloved son of the late Lawrence and Mary Jane (née Rupel) Moyer. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Nancy (née Johns) of 47 years, his siblings Cathy (Tim) Horval, and Jim (Pat) Moyer. Kevin is survived by his devoted children, Jay (Katie) Moyer, Lauren (Jeff) Blanc, and Allison Advent; his cherished grandchildren, Carlee, Fiona, Kylie, Ashley, Owen, and Haleigh; his sisters, Coletta and Maureen Moyer, sister-in-law, Sally (Dan) King, brother-in-law Greg Johns, including cherished cousins and many nieces and nephews.
A man of quiet strength, Kevin was known for his unwavering work ethic, kind heart, and sharp, wild sense of humor. He took immense pride in his family, never missing a milestone or everyday moment—whether it was a sporting event, school outing, or a simple family dinner. His presence was a constant source of love, support, and laughter.
Kevin was a jack of all trades who would lend a hand to anyone in need. He had a natural gift for fixing, building, and creating. He was also an incredible cook, baker, and grill master—his meals were made with love and are fondly remembered by all who gathered at his table.
A lifelong classic car enthusiast, Kevin found great joy in restoring and bonding over his 1974 Chevelle. His garage was not just a workspace, but a sanctuary where passion and craftsmanship came to life.
Kevin also had a deep love for animals, especially the dogs who were always by his side. They brought him comfort and companionship, and he held many treasured memories of their time together.
Kevin’s legacy is one of devotion, generosity, laughter, and love. He truly was the hardest working person you would ever know. His impact will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be greatly missed.
