Kenneth Allan Hess, 70, of Fairport Harbor, Ohio, passed away peacefully on June 25, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family.

Born March 5, 1955, in Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania, Kenn was the son of Rachel Ruth Rorabaugh Hess and George Alfred Hess.

Kenn had a passion for coffee, fast cars, rock music, and sound gear. He enjoyed collecting knives and treasured spending time with friends who shared his interests. He had a special love for Atlanta, Georgia, where he spent one of the best chapters of his life. He often talked about retiring there, holding the city close to his heart.

Kenn made friends wherever he went and was always ready with a genuine conversation, a helping hand, or honest words when needed. His straightforwardness and heartfelt love made him unforgettable.

He is survived by his daughter, Amanda Beres, and her husband, Brandon; his two beloved grandchildren, Kenneth and Akira, who brought him immense pride and joy; his sister, Sandra Hess Hudson, and her husband, Scott; as well as several nieces and nephews. He shared a special, lifelong bond with Ryan Bollens, whom he loved as a son.

Kenn was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Charles and Richard Hess; and sister Beverly Sullivan.

He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege to know him.
