John Karich

John Karich, age 84, of Brooklyn Heights, OH, passed away on Tuesday, January 20th, 2026 surrounded by family. Beloved husband to the late Gloria Karich (Smith). He is survived by daughter Holly Ponomarenko; step-daughters Denise Bamber (Bill), Colleen West (the late Jerry West); grandchildren Samantha and Alexandra Ponomarenko, Ryan Allen, Kristen Bamber (Mike McTighe); great grandchildren Ella, Cason, Brogan, Lochlan, Briar and Zealand. Preceded in death by his brother Michael Karich and parents John and Mary Karich.

A burial service with military honors will be held on Friday, February 20th, 2026 at 12:45 pm at the Ohio National Western Reserve Cemetery 10175 Rawiga Road, Seville, Ohio 44273.
