Janine Marie Martin

We are honoring our selfless, beautiful, faith-filled mother, wife, sister, and daughter. Janine Marie was a key source of love and the beating heart of our family. A devout woman, she gave everything to make those around her feel loved and comfortable at every moment, before ever thinking of herself. She chose to be a stay-at-home mom, where she fostered an infinite love and built an unbreakable bond with her children, Emily and Jacob, that will last for eternity. Whenever you were next to her, you felt like you were home. She prided herself in making her home “in-season” with her cozy decorating. She could always be found in the kitchen, which she referred to as “the heart of the home.” Her cooking and baking skills were unmatched, and served as one of her many languages of love. She married Wayne in 2014, and their bond of love still runs deep today. Their passion for CBJ hockey, Cleveland Indians baseball, and OSU football was evident in their daily lives. Janine and her brother Marcus had a special bond and a lifelong friendship that will live on through countless memories. She looked forward to talking to her mother, Lauren, throughout the week to catch up on life, which was a testament to their heartfelt connection. She held a special place in her heart for her son-in-law, Frankie, and their relationship was filled with constant laughter. In the most recent years, she took on the role of fur-mama to her kitty, Jonesy, and fur-mimi to her grandpup, Dante. Although her journey here on Earth has come to an end, her Heavenly journey has just begun. She is now united with Jesus in Heaven, whom she truly viewed as her dear friend. Everyday, she would thank Him for her many blessings in life. We find peace knowing she is now with her dad and grandma, and look forward to reuniting one day with our new guardian angel in Heaven.
