James A. Johnson

James A. Johnson age 56, of Madison. Passed away on March 6, 2023. Loving husband of 34 years to Rhonda (nee Casey). Devoted father of James “Jamie” A. Johnson Jr. (wife Madison). Grandfather of Lucas and Lindsay Johnson. Brother of Tammy Sidwell, Cindy Coburn (Louie), Edward Jr., (Lisa) Johnson, Sandy Kimble (Juan). Jim was a loving uncle and friend to many. Jim graduated from Mentor High School in 1984, and went on to be a Master Mechanic. He enjoyed Nascar, participating in Circle track racing, and drag racing. He loved Muscle cars, and car shows. There was “NO CAR” that he couldn’t fix. He loved spending time with his children, and grandchildren most of all. Jim is preceded in death by his parents Kay and Edward Johnson Sr.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 19, 2023, at Lake Erie Church 2300 Hubbard Road, Madison, OH 44057 from 2-3:00 p.m. Service will be at 3:00 p.m. and a dinner will follow at 4:00 p.m.
