Jack John Horwath

Jack John Horwath, age 86, of Mayfield Heights, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2026. He was the beloved husband of Mable, with whom he shared 47 wonderful years of marriage.

Jack was a devoted father to Jaclynn (Michael) Horwath, Derek (Katie) Carwardine, and Jack Jr. Horwath, and the loving father of Carrilynn Horwath, who preceded him in death. He was a cherished brother to Marlene (Glenn, deceased) Beaver and Robert (Anne) Horwath, and a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Jack was the treasured son of the late Dorothy and Phil Horwath.

Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, Jack retired from Marshall Ford at the age of 62. In retirement, he embraced life fully—enjoying cruises and travel with his wife and dear friends Linda Sheaffer and Alan Sweide.

Jack loved traveling, cruising, visiting flea markets, and spending time swimming in his pool. He had an incredible sense of humor, never met a stranger, and made friends everywhere he went. His kindness, warmth, and laughter will never be forgotten. Jack will remain forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
