Gail Elizabeth Learn

On Tuesday, February 18, 2020, Gail Elizabeth Learn, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away with her family at her side, at the age of 69, after a courageous six-year battle with cancer. 

Gail was born on February 2, 1951, daughter of Joyce and Clayton Morley.  She married Roy D. Learn, her husband of 52 years, and together they raised three children.  Gail was known for her kindness, her self-sacrificing manner, and her profound love for family.  She was musically talented and enjoyed music of all kinds, cooking and baking, gardening, and was a legendary canner.

Her life centered around her family and she especially looked forward to time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Survivors include her husband Roy, brother Emory (Virginia) Morley, children Judy Boone (Joseph Bohn), Roy Learn Jr., Timothy Learn, six grandchildren: Michael (Jenna), Matthew, and Mitchal Boone, Brittany (Nick) Phillips, Rebecca (Eric) Evanish, and Stacy Learn.  Seventeen great grandchildren: Adrianna, Arabella, Aalexis, Sophia, Khloe, Anayla, Mellanie Boone, Skylynn Parsons, Lincoln Rizzo, Blake and Hailey Phillips, Mason, Bailey, and Brooklyn Evanish, Dominic, Noah, and Jonah Obhof. 

Interment will be at Hartsgrove Cemetery on March 14, 11:00 a.m., with a Celebration of Life and luncheon held immediately after at Hartsgrove Town Hall.
