Emily Booth Kutscher

Emily Booth Kutscher passed away peacefully on January 16, 2026. She was nearly 97.

The daughter of Katherine Cox Booth and Chauncey Booth (both deceased), Emily attended the Knowlton College of The Ohio State University and practiced as a landscape architect in the Cleveland area. She married Paul Kutscher (deceased) and ultimately settled in their hometown of Kirtland. Emily is survived by her sons Paul II (Lucy), and grandsons Paul III, Kevin and Garrick and her son John (Anna), and his children Cathy, Scott, Matt, Neil, Drew and Lena. She was great-grandmother to thirteen.

Emily was a lifelong member of Old South Church in Kirtland, as well as a co-founder of The Garden Club of Kirtland.  She was an avid quilter and a member of the Colonial Quilters.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 14, 2026 at 11:00 am. Please join Emily’s family and friends at The Old South Church, 9802 Chillicothe Road, Kirtland.
