Eleese Ann Gosselin

Eleese Ann Gosselin (Ross). Age 90 of Willoughby, Ohio, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, January 8, 2026.  Born September 6, 1935, in Manchester, NH, she came to Lake County in 1963 and lived in Willoughby for over 60 years.

Eleese was a past president of the Jr. Women’s Club, and she served the Lord at Friends Church in many ministries and especially enjoyed the choir, the singing group “Just As I Am”, and “The WELL group.  She also joyously coordinated “Betty’s Boutique” for over 10 years.

While active in WJWC for over 15 years, she was instrumental in the implementation of Lake County’s Teen Listening Post and Willoughby’s Safety Town.  Other volunteer work included 20 years of service at Lake West Hospital and its Governing Board.  She was a driver for Meals-on-Wheels for 10 years and did Amblyopic screening for 8 years.  Pizza Hut employed her for over 10 years; she was also a medical receptionist, insurance secretary, and marketing demonstrator.  In her later years, she volunteered for RSVP, Lake County Council for the Aging, and Suit Yourself. 

Eleese loved music, cats, butterflies, roller skating, dancing, traveling, bowling, and the simple pleasures in life. She is survived by her daughter, Wendy Gosselin, and many friends and acquaintances.  She will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts.  

A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Willoughby Hills Friends Church.
