Gilbert (nee Snead) Truly adored Wife of James Russell; Loving Mother to Christine Patricia, James Roy & Dianne Eleanor ; Cherished Grandmother of Lorilei Shannon, Reannin Michelle, Benjamin James Bailey, Megan Nichole, Derrick James & Jake Bruce Gilbert; Caring Mother-in-law to Roger Hoover & Amie Gilbert.

Eleanor wasn’t only a career nurse, her caring warmth enveloped all her loved ones. Her smile would light up a room and her joyful spirit is greatly missed already. She was the glue of the family she made with Russ & a treasured friend to many. She was full of gratitude, wisdom and a little bit of spitfire. She spent her life focused on comforting others, so as Dr Suess said “Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened"
