Dorene Whitcomb

Dorene Whitcomb (nee Edmisten) of Painesville, OH passed away on Thursday January 9th 2025. Survived by daughters Crystal (Zeke) French, and Rachel (Richard) Estvanko.  Grandchildren Hailey Vitolo, Elizabeth Strauch, Tyler Vitolo and Alyssa Geizer. Great grandchildren Ella Jolly and Emmet Halstead.  Siblings Bob Edmisten, Dave (Vicky) Edmisten, Terry Doremus. Best Friend of Victor Baker, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Dale Whitcomb, parents, Robert and Nancy Edmisten, Brothers Mark Edmisten and Earl Edmisten and Daughter Tracy Geizer.  Dorene was well known for her love of gardening, and bird watching. The family will receive friends at Wildwood Culture Center, 7645 Little Mountain Road, Mentor, OH 44060 on February 1, 2025 at 10:00AM.
