In Loving Memory of Diana Osborn

January 6, 1954 – September 1, 2025

Diana Osborn, of Chardon, Ohio, passed away peacefully on September 1, 2025, at the age of 71. Born in Toledo, Ohio, Diana became a lifelong resident of the greater Cleveland area. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Helen Whitten, and her brother, Douglas Whitten. Diana is survived by her devoted husband, James A. Osborn; her sons, Eric Osborn and James Osborn, along with his fiancée, Rachel Browne; her cherished grandchildren, Christan Osborn and Ava Denly; her brothers, Dave and Jeff Whitten; and many nephews, cousins, and dear friends who will hold her memory close.

Diana was a woman of impactful spirit, known for her honesty and her willingness to speak her mind. She could be blunt, often using humor to brighten a moment or make a point. She had a lifelong love of animals—especially cats and dogs—and had a particular passion for pit bulls, mastiffs, and other majestic breeds, caring for many throughout the years. She was a loving mother, a faithful friend, and a compassionate caretaker to all creatures great and small. Though not religious, Diana held a unique belief in Christ and the teachings of the Bible. She formerly attended Chardon United Methodist Church. Her love, humor, and strength touched the lives of all who knew her, and she will be deeply missed.
