Dean Thompson

Dean Thompson, 67, of Painesville, Ohio, passed away peacefully on October 6th, 2025. Dean was a devoted husband, loving father, and grandfather. He was a lifelong sports fan and loved being a coach for local midget football and baseball leagues. Dean is survived by his loving wife, Robin Thompson; his two children, son Cody (Sarah) Thompson and daughter Ashley Thompson; two grandchildren, Emmalyn and Benjamin Thompson; and his 5 siblings: Mary Lou (David) Voss, Sandra Lewis Leroy, Arlene (David) Curry, Steve (Kim) Thompson, and Donovan (Angela) Thompson. He is preceded in death by his mother, Opal Hodges; stepfather, Bill Hodges; and father, Donovan Thompson.

In accordance with Dean’s wishes, there will be no services held.
