Daniel Thomas Rendrick

Daniel Thomas Rendrick passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 23rd, 2020 in Madison, OH at the age of 65. 

Daniel was born on September 13th, 1954 in Ashtabula, OH to Robert D. Rendrick and Janice (Mock) Mackey. Daniel proudly served three years as a machinist in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the New Apostolic Church for 32 years. 

Daniel most enjoyed playing the guitar for his friends and family. He was a skilled pianist and a talented song writer. A lively singer, he loved to belt out The Beach Boys with his daughters on their way to the beach. He was very fond of playing checkers and chess and was known for teaching others how to play. Daniel always had time to stop and chat and was well loved by the nurses who cared for him at Madison Healthcare. 

He is survived by his daughters, Stephanie (Matthew) Carter and Kristin (Alex) Siegman; his son, Josiah Rendrick; his grandsons Torrin, Parker, Nolan and Jace; his father Robert D. Rendrick; his mother Janice Mackey; his siblings Robert (Ellen), Rendrick, Vicki Pahel, Julie (Doug) Owings, Arlana (Gene) Muncy, Janette (Robbie) Harkabus, and Cory Mackey; and by his many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his daughter Darcie Rendrick; his stepfather Arnold Mackey; his stepmother Shirley Rendrick; and his sister Michelle Mackey. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 21st, 2020 at 11 o’clock a.m. at the New Apostolic Church, 5802 Cemetery Rd. Kingsville, OH 44048. A reception will follow.
