Beverly Edna Montgomery

Beverly Edna Montgomery. age 84, of Mentor-on-Lake, Ohio passed away on January 29th, 2026, after a long illness with COPD. Beverly was born in Cleveland, Ohio to Denver and Edna (Cross) Pahner of Cleveland, Ohio.

Beverly Attended Collinwood High School in Cleveland, Ohio. She married Sterling Herbert Montgomery Jr on October 17, 1963 at Mount Olive Lutheran in Cleveland, Ohio.

Beverly worked for Sears in Cleveland, Ohio for many years, then she worked for Macy’s as a China Department Consultant in Richmond Heights, Euclid and Mentor, Ohio.  She Retired from Macy’s after 25 years. She was a recipient of the Diamond Star with Macy’s for many of those years.

Beverly enjoyed spending any spare time with her Family, especially all the Grandchildren.

She Loved to work her Word Search puzzles and watch her Hallmark Movies. Tending to all her flowers in the house and outside. Watching and Feeding all the birds that visited her Patio daily.  Loved to Sew and make clothes for herself and others, especially Weddings.

She was a member of Mount Olive Lutheran Church, Cleveland, Ohio.  Good Shepherd Lutheran church of Mentor, Ohio. Recently a member of Faith Lutheran Church of Mentor, Ohio.

She leaves behind her best friend and favorite Pet, Her Bird Lilly.

2 Sons: Kyle (Monica) Montgomery, Mentor, OH.      Troy Montgomery, Lakewood, OH.

4 Grandchildren: Chrystal (Dan) Mahoney, Madison, OH.     Mindy (Tom) Bowens, Perry, OH

Brian (Nikki) Montgomery, Eastlake, OH.    Jon-Michael (Lily) Montgomery, Pittsburgh, PA

5 Great Grandchildren:Brianna Corfee, Murray, KY,  Tyler Corfee, Murray, KY,  Lucas Altha, Madison, OH, Jace Bowens, Perry, OH.     Blake Bowens, Perry, OH

3 Step Great Grandchildren:  Danny Mahoney, Chloe Mahoney, Lucas Simmons

Sister:  Violet Kolat, Cleveland Ohio

Beverly was an Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Beverly is preceded in Death by: Husband: Herbert Montgomery, Parents:  Denver and Edna Pahner.   Brothers: Douglas Pahner, Dennis Pahner.  Sister: Marlene (Pahner) Kirk,   Niece: Cindy Washington, Joyce Hetrick.

Arrangements are being Handled by Blessings Cremation, Mentor, Ohio Grave Side Service and Memorial will be at a later date
