Barbara Dickinson

Barbara (Barb) A. Dickinson passed away peacefully at her home on Oct 13, 2025. Born July 24, 1938, in Cleveland Ohio to Louis and Eleanor Thompson, she was the only daughter of 4 children, She married Phillip W. Dickinson in 1956 and was married to him for 27 years until his death in 1983. She had 2 children Jeff and David She worked for the Kmart Corporation for 23 years working her way up to operations manager by her retirement in 2000.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and especially her grandkids, so much so she took them on a yearly summer trip while they were growing up. She is Preceded in death by her son, David L. Dickinson and her brothers, Lou, Gene (Judy), and Larry Thompson. She is survived by her son Jeffrey (Julie) Dickinson and daughter in law Kathy Dickinson, 3 Grandsons and 8 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and her loyal dog Bandit.

Service will be held at Faith Baptist Church located at 3003 Narrows Rd Perry, Ohio on Oct 25th, 2025, at 11AM. Flowers will be accepted at the church between 9-10am the day of the service.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Hospice of the Western Reserve.
