Arthur E. Lewis
Arthur E. Lewis, 72, of Eastlake, Ohio, passed away on December 5, 2025. Born in East Cleveland to the late Arthur Sr. and Marie Lewis, Arthur was a 1971 graduate of Kirtland High School. He spent his working years at G & L Sign Company, Continental Cable, and Avery Dennison, but his true passions were found in stories and puzzles.
Arthur was a devoted fan of Star Trek, Star Wars, and the works of Stephen King. In recent years, he could often be found working on complex puzzles. To his family, however, he is remembered for the simple moments shared together.
His daughter Amy cherishes memories of fishing, watching movies, and sharing spaghetti and garlic bread during marathons of Star Trek and Doctor Who. His daughter Kelly recalls the sweetness of making homemade ice cream with him and quiet mornings watching TV, waiting for The Monkees to start so she could wake him up.
Arthur is survived by his daughters, Amy (Dan) Brunson and Kelly (Elisha) Krogen; grandchildren, Travis (Natalie) Brunson, Jason (Amanda) Brunson, Juniper (Sagan) Stefanek, Hezekiah and Xavier Krogen; great-grandson, Adam Brunson; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers, John and Tim Lewis.
The family extends their gratitude to the Lake County Council on Aging for their care and kindness.
Per Arthur's wishes, there will not be a funeral, just a private family gathering.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to the Lake County Council on Aging.
