JOSHUA ARTHUR KLESS

January 23, 1982 - January 4, 2016

Joshua Arthur Kless, 33, of Mentor, passed away on January 4, 2016.  He was born on January 23, 1982.  Josh was loved by his family and will be missed dearly by his loving parents, Karen (nee Ayers) and Rich Ward and Sam and Gretchen Kless.  He was the loving daddy of Sophia (Mom, Carrie), theproud brother of Jeremy (Kaylee), Jon Drago, and Kalee, and the fun-loving uncle of Giana and Juliana (Mom, Concetta) and Gracie; dearest grandson of  Helen “Nana” and Gene “Pa” Ayers, Flo “Nana” and  Arthur (deceased) Kless, and Richard and Carolyn Ward; great grandson of  Betty Anderson, Gerald and Betty (both deceased) Chisholm, and Arthur and Adele (both deceased) Kless;  Dear nephew of  Laurie Hughey (Jake); Kathy Hearn (Patrick) , Julie, Janet Jagiela (Dieter), Jerry, Gary (Jennifer); Cousin of Chris Hearn (Cherie), Matt Hearn (Dana), Kim Hearn-Vance (Keith), Destiney Hearn, Romona, Cory, Ryan, Andrew Ross (Tiffany), Shayne Smith (Jez), Shawn Mallon, and Zack Ross (Bea);  Second cousin of Gabriel, Olivia, Nicholas, Milo, Oliver, Bria, Harley, Shelby, and Jackson.

Josh loved his family and lived for the time he spent with them; on walks, sharing meals, and hanging out by the fire or pool.  He was a fan of the Buckeyes, the Browns and all other sports.  He was athletic and was an excellent golfer, always showing off his skills to his grandfather, “Pa.”  He enjoyed the constant care packages sent to him by his grandmother, “Nana.”  Josh was enthusiastic about the possibilities life held for him, and was committed to the Lord, carrying his Bible with him everywhere.  He had a great sense of humor and was loved by all.  The greatest love of his life was his daughter, Sophia; his happiest moments when he was hugging or playing with her. His family was proud of him and acknowledges how hard he tried to succeed.  He is now at peace.  ~John 3:16~

A celebration of Josh’s life will be held on Sunday, January 17th at 2pm at Willoughby United Methodist Church.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Joshua A. Kless Memorial Fund at Huntington Bank.  All funds will be donated to local organizations that are committed to helping those who are fighting addiction, including the Lake House in Painesville, Ohio.
