John Hudson

John Hudson joined his wife Betty on March 20, 2024, who preceded him after putting up with him for 62 years. 

John worked for 5 companies in tax management.  These 5 companies were Addressograph-Multigraph Corp., True Temper Corp., Automatic Sprinkler Co., White Motor Corp. and Volvo Construction Equipment (Euclid).  

John remained active after retirement, traveling with Betty throughout the U.S.  He also was physically active, playing senior softball with the Huffers and Puffers, and basketball at Willoughby Senior Center. 

Born and raised in Greensburg, PA, he came to Cleveland and subsequently Mentor, in the early 1950’s. Fortunately he met his soulmate shortly thereafter and following a brief experience in the Army, cooperated with Betty in raising three great kids, John, who preceded him in death (Terrie) of Mentor, Kerry (Mary Ann) of GA, and Shari of Painesville.  Also of note are grandchildren John, Rachel, Keegan and Leah. 

Not wishing to extend an unhappy period, no services or ceremonies will be held. A veteran’s interment of John & Betty’s ashes will be held this summer
